He was united in marriage to Eva Belle Akers and she survives of the home. Throughout his life Charles worked as an auctioneer and was also farmer.
In addition to his wife Eva, he is survived by a brother, Mike Mann, St. Paul, KS; his sister, Elda Jean Heckart, Jefferson, WI; he was preceded in death by Mary Orton.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Goodrich Cemetery in Parker, KS with Mike Mann officiating. Friends may call now and until 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
