Mary Ann (McNamara) Kreissler passed away peacefully at the Appleton City Manor in Appleton City, Missouri, on August 29, 2018. The daughter of James and Elizabeth (Adams) McNamara was born on November 14, 1928 in Rolla, Missouri. She then attended the Rolla School District. Upon completing her education, Mary Ann married Harold Kreissler on October 3, 1958, her husband of 60 years. They raised 2 children: Jim and Jerry. They lived in the Kansas City area most of their life, until their retirement when they moved to Arizona. They then returned to Missouri, residing in the Appleton City and Clinton areas.

Apart from this, the most important thing in Mary Ann’s life was her family. She prized times spent with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She sacrificed greatly for her family and worked intensely to take care of her children. Mary Ann always lit-up the room; she was the sweetest and kindest lady, always giving complements to everyone she met. Moreover, she was renowned for her neatness, keeping her home in perfect order; nothing was ever out of place. Mary Ann further enjoyed traveling. She and Harold visited almost every state in the United States, especially enjoying the capital buildings. So long as she was able she remained an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, dutifully serving her Lord, Jesus Christ. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all that had the pleasure of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Elizabeth (Adams) McNamara.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband Harold Kreissler; sons: Jim Burns and wife Irene, and Jerry Burns; grandchildren: Mick Burns, Nicole Young and husband Jason, Michael and wife Lisa Burns, Rachael Epperson and husband Billy Inks; great-grandchildren: Roman Young, Brendyon Grisham, and Carly and husband Justin Hudson, and Donna Halcome; and great-great-grandson, Thomas Halcome; along with many great friends. She will be deeply missed.
