Shirley is survived by her husband Leroy Vansandt of the home; a son, Wayne Vansandt and his wife Michelle of Blue Springs, Missouri; two daughters, Julene Kost and her husband Jim of Gladstone, Missouri, and Brenda Smith of Independence, Missouri; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, Missouri.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
