In the morning hours of Tuesday, August 7, 2018 Nevada Police executed a search warrant in the 1100 block of East Allison Street in response to reports of illegal drug activity at that location.
Officers had developed information regarding known individuals at that location that had reportedly been involved in illegal drug activity.
During the search officers located and seized suspected methamphetamine, pills identified as controlled substances and suspected drug paraphernalia. The evidence seized will be sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab for further analysis.
Two subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Vernon County Jail for holding by Nevada Police. The two subjects were identified as follows:
Larry Coker, age 57 of Nevada
Jennifer Crews, age 39 of Nevada
On August 7, 2018, the following charges were filed against Larry Coker through the Vernon County Associate Court:
Possession of a Controlled Substance - Class D Felony
Coker is being held in the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a $7,500 cash only bond.
On August 7, 2018 the following charges were filed against Jennifer Crews through the Vernon County Associate Court:
Two (2) Counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance - Class D Felony
Crews is being held in the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a $7,500 cash only bond.
