The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2008 Toyota driven by 18 year old Gandrew P. Leone of Harrisonville, Missouri struck the rear of the 2001 Chevrolet driven by 59 year old Scott A. Geurtz of Omaha, Nebraska and then the rear of the 2005 BMW driven by 45 year old Rebecca P. Chane of Omaha, Nebraska before flipping into a ditch and coming to rest on its wheels facing southwest.
Grandrew P. Leone sustained minor injuries in this accident and he was transported by private vehicle to St.Lukes East in Lees Summit, Missouri for treatment.
Both Rebecca P. Chane and Scott A. Guertz sustained moderate injuries in this accident and both were transported by ambulance to St. Lukes Main on the Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
All three vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by Johnson's Tow of Harrisonville, Missouri.
