The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2008 Ford Fusion driven by 32 year old Vanessa E. Bradford of Nevada, Missouri overtook and struck the rear of the 2007 Kia Sedona driven by 28 year old Elisabeth R. Nelson of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Four occupants in the Ford Fusion including 3 minors sustained minor injuries in this accident and all were transported by ambulance to Cass Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Five occupants in the Kia Sedona including 4 minors sustained minor injuries in this accident and all of them were transported by private vehicle for medical treatment.
The Ford Fusion was totaled and towed from the scene by J's Southland Tow.
