Updated Obituary - Donna Baumgarden

Donna Baumgarden, 62 of Clinton, Missouri passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at her home in Clinton. Fond memories and condolences may be left online at www.vansant-millsfuneralhome.com

A memorial service for Donna will be on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 2pm at Vansant-Mills Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at a later date at Englewood Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Donna Baumgarden/ Jerry Little memorial fund and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Donna Marie McNeely Baumgarden was born on March 31, 1956 in Kansas City, Mo to Albert Dwight McNeely and Virginia Lee Jones McNeely. The family moved to the area in the early sixties where she attended several schools before graduating in 1974 from Deepwater High School.

After High School she married Leonard Baumgarden, to this union Jennifer Michelle Baumgarden was born, who survives at the home.

Donna also after High School went to work for Rival Manufacturing, she worked there for 28 years until the plant closed in 2002. Listening to her stories of pranks she and/or her sister pulled, made it sound like a fun place to work. From there she went to college to study at State Fair Community College graduating with an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. After graduating she joined the Wal-Mart team, where she continued with the pranks. He co-workers and customers loved her, and she was frequently asked if she has a sister who works at the hospital.

Donna enjoyed spending time with her daughter and step-children with Jerry Little, and the vacations they would take. She had several hobbies such as rock tumbling, video gaming, reading and puzzles.

Donna passed away quietly at home as per her wishes, surrounded by her family.

Donna was preceded in death by her partner in life, Jerry Little, grandparents, Alford Albert McNeely and Bessie May Shanks McNeely, and Omar Amos Jones and Anna May Hethering Jones, her parents, siblings, Dwight Ernest McNeely, Anna May McNeely, Eldon Dean McNeely, Juanita Louise McNeely, Patrick Timothy McNeely and Baby McNeely.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Jennifer, step-children, Jeramiah Little and Charity Little Gardner, sisters, Darlene McNeely Moore (Terry) and Trudi McNeely Ross (Don Wear), brothers, Richard (Matt) McNeely, Bruce McNeely (Pam Rice) and Robert (Bobby) McNeely (Candy Leto), plus numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, and cousins.
