City of Harrisonville now accepting bids

The City of Harrisonville, Missouri will accept sealed bids for a Roof Replacement on the Salt Storage facility located at 1403 S. Independence St. Harrisonville, MO 64701 until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at City Hall, 300 E. Pearl St. Harrisonville, MO 64701, at which time sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. All bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope “Salt Storage Roof Replacement.”

Bid Specifications may be obtained at the Street Maintenance Dept., 1403 S. Independence Street, Harrisonville, MO 64701 or at www.harrisonville.comunder bid postings.

Prevailing Wage: This bid is estimated below the newly established $75,000 for public projects and does not warrant prevailing wage.

Contractor must participate in a Federal Work Authorization Program per RSMo. Section 285.530 and be compliant with RSMo. Section 292.675 that requires 10 hour OSHA safety training for on-site employees.

The City of Harrisonville reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof and to waive any informalities to determine the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder as approved by the Board of Aldermen.
