Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Belton Cemetery, Belton, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Adrian Manor Health & Rehab for the Activities Department 402 W 1st St., Adrian, MO 64720.
She was the first of four children to Wm C. (Bill) and M. Lorraine (Rogers) Snead on April 3, 1948 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO. Nancy was a beautiful baby when she was 18 months old, she won a baby contest with her curly brown hair and happy smile.
She graduated the State Training School for the Handicapped and for a time worked in the Sheltered Workshop in Raytown. Nancy spent many hours with her parents at the family’s restaurant Sneads Bar-B-Q. She enjoyed other people and family dinners, and always had a smile for everyone.
Nancy loved all animals, but she enjoyed horses from the time she was small. She loved music, parades, traveling, trains, balloons and marshmallows.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; and a younger brother, Andrew (Andy) Frank Snead.
She is survived by her brother, Wm (Bill) C. Snead, Jr. and his wife Linda of Elizabeth, CO; her sister, Beverly Snead Kircher and husband Mike of Pleasant Hill, MO; nephew, Patrick Kircher; nieces, Rachael Randolph, Kimberly Carson, Kelly Snead, Heather Viola and Jessica Fisher; and cousins and many friends.
