A team of Vernon County Sheriff’s Office and Nevada Police personnel served a search warrant Tuesday evening at a residence on South Main Street in Nevada, Mo that resulted in the recovery of methamphetamines and a firearm.
According to officials, a warrant was issued Wednesday for Thomas J Toothaker, 34, of Nevada, charging him with Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher said the search warrant was part of an on-going drug investigation into the trafficking of illegal narcotics in Vernon County.
Toothaker is currently being held in the Vernon County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
