Drug Search Warrant Served In Nevada

In the afternoon hours of Monday, October 22, 2018 Nevada Police executed a search warrant in the 400 block of North Ash Street in response to reports of illegal drug activity at that location.

Officers had developed information regarding a known individual at that location that had reportedly been involved in illegal drug activity.

During the search officers located and seized suspected methamphetamine, suspected marijuana, pills identified as controlled substances and suspected drug paraphernalia. The evidence seized will be sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab for further analysis.

Three subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Vernon County Jail for holding. The three subjects were identified as follows:

Dillon Bennett, age of 35 of Nevada
Crystal O’Connell, age 37 of Nevada
Gregory Roberts, age 33 of Nevada

On October 23, 2018, the following charges were filed against Dillon Bennett through the Vernon County Associate Court:

Two (2) Counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance - Class D Felony

Bennett is being held in the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a $25,000 cash only bond.

On October 23, 2018, the following charges were filed against Crystal O’Connell through the Vernon County Associate Court:

Possession of a Controlled Substance - Class D Felony
O’Connell is being held in the Vernon County Jail in lieu of a $25,000 cash only bond.

Gregory Roberts was taken into custody for an outstanding felony arrest warrant from Vernon County. He is being held in the Vernon County Jail.
