Missouri to honor fallen firefighter with lowered flags

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – By order of the Governor, all flags at all State and government offices will be flown at half-staff on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, from sunrise until sunset, in honor of Firefighter Russell H. Hayes who died in the line of duty.

Hayes was a 62 year old Eldorado Springs volunteer firefighter who died of injuries sustained when his truck crashed in Cedar County on Wednesday, October 3rd.
