From the Bates County Sheriff's Office

The Bates County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a partnership with someone in our community that would be willing to a long term lease, or donate some land for a training ground/ facility.

Our goal would be to build a firing range for handgun and rifles with covered shooting area, a shoot house for force on force training and a K9 training area.

If you would like to partner with your local Law Enforcement or know someone who does please contact Sheriff Anderson at 660-679-3232.

Your partnership/ donation may be tax deductible. Continued training is detrimental to the safety of our deputies and citizens.

Having a place for firearms training locally keeps our deputies from having to travel outside of Bates County to get firearms training.
