Betty was born February 26, 1938 in Peculiar, MO, the daughter of Albert and Naomi ‘Winchel’ Peek. At a young age of 17 she married Don Hannah, on February 26, 1955, and to this union four children were born. Betty worked for AT&T in Lee’s Summit for 30 years. She retired in 1990, moving to Clinton, MO. She loved to camp, read and do puzzles. But more than anything, Betty loved her family and being with them.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna (Johnny) Burns of Clinton, MO, Debbie Kiln of Clinton, MO, and Suann (Chuck) McGeorge of Clinton, MO; one son, Donald Ray Hannah, Jr. of St. Joseph, MO; fourteen grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; five brothers; and three sisters.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one brother, Otis Peek; and her son-in-law, Elmer Kihn.
The family will receive visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Consalus Funeral Home. A funeral service will also be at the funeral home on Friday, November 30, 2018, at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Englewood Cemetery, Clinton.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Heartland Hospice and left in care of Consalus Funeral Home, 209 S. 2nd St., Clinton, MO 64735.
