Elizabeth M. Sutton, age 69, passed away on December 10, 2018.
Elizabeth was born on March 10, 2018 to George Edward Bates and Dessie Cerben ‘Scarbrough’ Bates.
She married Wilbur Sutton on March 14, 1973. Wilbur preceded her in death on August 14, 2018.
Liz worked as a CNA. She was an active member of T.O.P.S (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) and was very proud of her K.O.P.S (Keeping Off Pounds Sensibly) status.
In addition to her husband, Liz was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John, William, Leon and Frances Bates and an infant sister.
Liz is survived by her daughter, Tonya (Eric) Bradbury; grandchildren, Danielle and Jamison Bradbury; sister, Mary Bates Milligan; brothers-in-law, Alvie (Eva) Sutton of Calhoun, Willie (Karen) Sutton of Clinton and Tom (Phoebe) Sutton of Lincoln; sisters-in-law, Wilma (Arthur) Bedford of Lowry City, Betty (David) Burnett of Sweet Springs, Bonnie Sutton of Springfield, Aline (Rick) Jurden of Warrensburg and Corrine Lesmeister of Deepwater; special caregiver, Dewayne (Lynne) Blevins; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM at Consalus Funeral Home on Thursday, December, 13, 2018. A Funeral Service will follow on Friday, December, 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Consalus Funeral Home. Cremation and Burial of Cremains will follow at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the “Elizabeth Sutton Memorial Fund” and left in the care of Consalus Funeral Home, 209 S. 2nd, Clinton, MO 64735.
