On Thursday, investigators, along with Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop D Special Weapons and Tactics Team, executed a search warrant at Richardson’s and Anderson’s residence located on Shoal Cliff Drive, in Joplin.
Once inside the home, investigators located Richardson, Anderson, and a juvenile. As a result of their search, investigators seized approximately 190 marijuana plants, 10 firearms, and several pounds of processed marijuana. A family member took custody of the juvenile. Richardson and Anderson were arrested and transported to the Newton County Jail.
The Newton County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office formally charged Richardson and Anderson with the following felonies: Richardson was charged with manufacture of a controlled substance, unlawful use of a weapon, and endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs. His bond was set at $5,500. Anderson was charged with manufacture of a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $3,000.
