City of Harrisonville receives MoPEP grant for electric systems upgrade

The City of #Harrisonville took another step towards improving the city’s electric distribution system on Monday night as they accepted an $116,550 grant from the Missouri Public Energy Pool (MoPEP).

Missouri Public Utility Alliance VP of Government Affairs, Communications, and Member Relations Ewell Lawson presented the award. MPUA Lineworker Safety & Training Coordinator Mark Mustain was also in attendance for the presentation.

Mayor Brian Hasek, City Administrator Happy Welch and Public Works Director Eric Patterson accepted the award on behalf of the City.
