Dorothy June Crowell was born January 27, 1925 in Pittsburg, Kansas to Dwight and Beulah Dunagin Masters. She grew up in Pittsburg and graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1943. She worked as a model in her younger years and had a successful 30 year career with Avon. Dorothy was united in marriage to Bill Crowell. Together they farmed and raised Charolais cattle. She enjoyed traveling, playing the piano and violin, attending South Fork Baptist Church, and overall, just enjoying God’s creation.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, son Ron Himby, sister Luella Lapage, and brother Robert Masters. She is survived by her grandson Jason McCurley, great-granddaughters, Harper Grace and Charlotte Gray McCurley, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
