Greg is survived by the final love of his life, Kelly Hoffman, six children: Stacy (Greg) Sullivan, Frontenac, KS, Melissa (Steve) Ludwig, Overland Park, KS, Jennifer Loteckie, Independence, MO, Corey (Amy) Hite, Pittsburg, KS, Erica (Brandon) Ray, Mt. Pleasant, TX & Shawn Loteckie, Raymore, MO, his sister, Kim (Tony) Koury of Kansas City, MO, his stepfather, Val Lemos, Kansas City, MO, 14 grandchildren & several nieces & nephews & best friend, Randy (Julie) Richerson, Raymore, MO.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandmother, grandfather, mother & wife of 24 years, Judy Loteckie.
Greg graduated from Ruskin High School in 1977 & attended Longview Community College. He was a dedicated truck driver for QT for 25 years. He had plans to retire this year. He was a fierce competitor & a kind gentleman. He loved sports, but especially the game of golf & the friendships associated with the game. He held several titles that include: 2013 KCGA Masters Champion, 2014 KCGA Heart of America 4 ball Champion with Don Kuehn, 2 time club champion at Eagles Landing & 2 holes in one. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren & had become very fond of their horses: Sparky & Rocky.
A celebration of life for family & friends will be held at his home on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 11a-1p.
