Upon arrival, Deputies made contact with the subject who initially provided a false name but was later identified as Steven Ward, 40 years old from Lee’s Summit, MO.
Upon further investigation, Deputies learned that Ward had stolen items on his person, belonging to a nearby church.
Mr. Ward was taken into custody and placed on a 24 hour investigative hold. A warrant was obtained for Burglary 2nd degree with a bond of $7,500.00 cash or surety.
