On February 2, Everett and Karen Irwin enjoyed watching Wyatt Swarens receive his awards at the Blue & Gold Banquet for Cub Scouts in Rich Hill. Wyatt received his awards from his Dad, Adam Swarens. His grandmother, Pam Swarens also attended. Everyone enjoyed dinner and Smore’s to go along with the camping theme for the evening. All of the kids did great!
Leona Lovell and Shirley Brooks-King have both recently been in the hospital. We wish them continued prayers for healing.
Mother Nature has certainly been playing tricks on us lately. On a good note, spring we know will soon be here.
Once again due to weather the O5O dinner was cancelled for February. Hopefully will be on for March!
The Hume United Methodist Church News: The Annual Sweetheart Dinner will be Sunday evening, February 17. The Methodist Men need to be there at 4:30 p.m. to prepare the meal. The meal will start at 6:00 p.m. with the program to follow at 7:00 p.m. Our program will be presented by” The Dirks Family”.
Saturday, February 16 is Food Pantry Day in Hume from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
