Obituary - Shirley A. Perry

Shirley A. Perry, age 81, of Peculiar, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4, 2019 at Cullen Funeral Home 612 W. Foxwood Dr. Raymore, Missouri 64083.

Shirley was born on June 5, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Jim Anders and Gladys Lasley Anders. Shirley was one of six children including, Chuck, Fern, Jim, Ray, and Pat.

Shortly after graduating high school, Shirley was joined in marriage with her late husband Franklin Perry on April 4, 1958 and for ten years spent time together overseas. Together they were blessed with daughter, Cheryl. Shirley very much loved her family and loved her hummingbird collection. As a member of the United Methodist Church in Harrisonville, Missouri, Shirley was also a social butterfly. She owned her own restaurant in Raymore, Missouri for several years.

Shirley is preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty years, Franklin Perry; brothers Chuck Anders and Jim Anders; and sister Fern Ashby.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Cheryl Plumb; brother Ray Anders; sister Pat Baldwin; grandson, Jeremy Plumb; granddaughter Shelby Bouzek; and two great grandchildren, Skyler and Kaleb Plumb.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 1100 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, Missouri 64105.
