Cass Co – Around 8:30 pm Monday night deputies discovered an unresponsive inmate in a shower of the Cass County Jail. Deputies began CPR and notified EMS. Attempts to revive the subject by first responders were unsuccessful and the subject was declared deceased at the scene.
Investigators with the Johnson County Missouri Sheriff’s Office were called to lead the investigation along with the Jackson County Medical Examiner’s Office.
