Appleton City FFA to get a boost

With their current greenhouse set to become a parking lot, Appleton City FFA is preparing for the construction of a larger, permanent facility next to their ag shop. Adviser Sarah Leiber says the new greenhouse will have over twice as much space.

Part of the project will be funded by a $500 Building Our American Communities grant. Leiber says the new greenhouse will help out community organizations.

Appleton City FFA Adviser Sarah Leiber says construction will take place this summer. The chapter was one of 11 to receive a grant from the Missouri Department of Agriculture.
