On 03/12/2019, Officers we dispatched to the 400 Block of North Independence in Pleasant Hill, MO, Cass County.
Upon arrival, we were met with a subject who was cleaning up the property. They stated, while cleaning a shed behind the house, they located what they believed to be human remains.
Officers observed the remains and also believed it could possibly be human.
The Jackson County Medical Examiner’s office was notified and they arrived and took possession of the remains.
An investigation, to include a search warrant of the property, is currently underway.
