The Hume R-VIII School Kindergarten Round-Up, Preschool Enrollment and Early Childhood Screening will be March 20th, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You can call the school at (660) 643-7411 for an appointment. Don’t forget their birth certificate, lead testing and immunization records. Children must be 3 yrs old before August 1, 2019 to enroll in Preschool with the school accepting a maximum of 10 with it being a first come, first serve basis. Priority will be given to in-district students that are 4 years old before August 1, 2018. Children must be 5 yrs old before August 1, 2019 to enroll in Kindergarten.
More excitement will be happening at the Hume School when the dinner theatre will be presented. “Murder’s in the Heir” will be presented on April 6 at 6:00 p.m. and April 7 at 1:00 p.m. People will be able to enjoy Lasagna, Green beans, Salad, Breadstick: Cheesecake with Blueberry or cherry topping for dessert all for $14.00 a ticket. The Hume fair will be here before you know it – this year’s dates are July 30 through August 3. They will soon be looking for Rodeo Queen Candidates, Prince and Princess Candidates for 2019. This will be the 77th year for the Annual Hume Fair and Rodeo and we are looking to have a great year!
