Jasper teen charged with 4 counts of statutory rape

On 03-28-2019 the Barton County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a disturbance in the area of 879 SW 1st Ln in Barton County. During the investigation it was found out that there was an allegation being made of a adult male who had sexual relations with a minor younger than the age of 14. 

During the day on the 28th the Sheriff's Office conducted the investigation assisted by the Children's Center in Nevada. At approximately 5:00 pm the Sheriff and Deputies returned to 879 SW 1st LN and arrested a subject at that residence. 

At the conclusion of the investigation a probable cause statement was sent to the Barton County Prosecuting attorney Mike Smalley for criminal charges of Statutory Rape. On 3-29-2019 a warrant has been served to Trevor J. Marsolick, age 17, of Jasper on four counts of Statutory Rape. He has a bond amount of $100,000.00 cash or surety.
