More winners in Adrian art contest

Archie art students competed in the WEMO conference art contest Wednesday evening at Adrian High School. Students had two hours to create an artwork in the categories of drawing still life, painting still life, figure drawing, hand-building with clay and the pottery wheel. Archie swept the figure drawing section winning 1st, 2nd and 3rd places!
Congratulations to Cecily Wright (1st), Chris Schilling (2nd) and Grant Dixon (3rd) for their accomplishments in figure drawing.

In addition, Lilly Bremer won 1st place in the pottery wheel section and Alyssa Scholten won 2nd place in the pottery wheel section. Charlie Mulkey, Dezirae Knibb, Vanessa Waldis, Natty Prackova and Makayla Wittke also completed artwork during the contest. -submitted
