On 3/30/19 around 9:45am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Vernon County responded to a one vehicle accident on Dalton Road around 12 miles northeast of Nevada.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2015 Toyota Tundra truck driven by 15 year old Kierstin R. Trueblood of Walker, Missouri ran through a T Intersection, became airborne and struck a rock embankment.
Kierstin R. Trueblood along with a passenger in her vehicle 14 year old Shiloh R. Mitchem of Schell City, Missouri both sustained minor injuries in this accident and both were transported by private vehicle to Nevada Regional Hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of the accident Garwood Wrecker of Nevada.
