The Butler R-V School District’s Track and Field Event for Special Athletes was held on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Butler Sports Complex. There were 36 participants from Butler, Holden and Stockton schools. The teams along with many volunteers enjoyed a beautiful afternoon and brought home many medals and awards. An outpouring of community and family support through the week’s preparations and on the day of the event was much appreciated by students and staff.
This event was coordinated by the High School Community Outreach Team and the students were coached by Leann Garlock and Andrew Collins.
