You can obtain an application for the scholarship in your school's guidance counselor office. All applications are due May 1, 2019. Please send completed applications to: Thrivent Financial, c/o Mandy Yates, 3 W Dakota St, Butler, MO 64730.
Applicants must be a Bates County resident and can be either a high school senior or a graduate continuing their education. They must plan to major in an agriculture-related field and accepted by an accredited college offering Associate, Bachelor of Arts, or Bachelor of Science degrees.
These scholarships will be awarded by the Cattlemen and Cattlewomen during the livestock sale at the Bates County Fair in July.
