The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2003 Chevrolet driven by 43 year old Dennis H. Ruddick of Clinton, Missouri ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a sign causing the vehicle to overturn striking a embankment and fence before coming to rest.
Dennis H. Ruddick sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by Life Flight to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Golden Valley Tow of Clinton, Missouri.
