Harrisonville Woman Wins $50,000 Powerball Prize

Lori Butterworth of Harrisonville is one of two Missouri players who matched four of five white-ball numbers plus the Powerball in the March 6 Powerball drawing to win $50,000.

Butterworth, who described her win as “shocking,” purchased her winning ticket from QuikTrip, 11101 E. 40 Highway, in Independence.

Powerball is a $2 per play multi-state Draw Game that features jackpots starting at $40 million. Butterworth’s winning ticket marks the eighth time a Missouri Lottery player has won a $50,000 Powerball prize in 2019.

The winning numbers for the March 6 Powerball drawing were 6, 10, 21, 35, 46, and the Powerball was 23.

All current Missouri Lottery tickets can be scanned on the Lottery’s mobile app or on Check-A-Ticket machines at retail locations to determine if a ticket is a winner.
