The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2012 Chevrolet driven by 82 year old Roger L. Lang of O'Neill, Nebraska traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a guardrail.
Mr. Lang sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of the crash by Douty's Tow of Butler, Missouri.
