Sgt. Wilson and Deputy Dority turned a pedestrian check into a large counterfeiting bust! Over $800 in counterfeit money in various stages of the process along with drugs and paraphernalia.
We have several cases open across the county for counterfeit bills which we will most likely be able to close do to this bust. The Secret Service has been notified to see if they are willing to take this case. Paxton also had a no bond probation warrant out of Jefferson City.
He and Hernandez are looking at numerous charges here in Benton County for Forgery, Counterfeiting, drugs, paraphernalia and the list goes on.... Thank you Sgt. Wilson and Deputy Dority for a job well done.
