Robert Lee Kersey, age 86 of Independence, Missouri formerly of Adrian, Missouri died Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at Rosewood Rehab at the Groves in Independence. He was born May 14, 1932 to Kendall Gustin and Pearlie Mae Jones Kersey in Butler, Missouri.
Robert is survived by one son, Steve Kersey and wife Candi of Archie, Missouri; two stepdaughters, Debbie Banks of Pompano Beach, Florida and Denise Brock and husband Dennis of Des Moines, Iowa; one brother, George Kersey and wife Karen of Raytown, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Dee Monroe and husband Cal of Independence, Missouri; and four grandchildren, Stephanie Hathaway, Jacob Shaffer, Haley Shaffer and Bailey Kersey. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Mollie Lou White.
