The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2004 Mercury SUV driven by 61 Jennifer A. Zismer of Osceola, Missouri traveled off the left side of the roadway, driver over corrected causing the vehicle to travel off the right side of the roadway and overturning striking a mailbox.
Jennifer A. Zismer sustained serious injuries in this accident and she was transported by air ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of the accident by C & H Towing of Collins, Missouri.
