Belton man seriously injured in Cass County Crash

On 5/20/19 around 3:30pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident on Missouri 291 Highway at Missouri 58 East Highway in rural Cass County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2009 GMC driven by 26 year old Nathaniel W. Osborne of Belton, Missouri was traveling westbound on MO-58 Highway when he failed to yield and struck the 1989 Ford driven by 57 year old Brian K. Mather of Lees Summit, Missouri.

Nathaniel W. Osborne sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Belton Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene of the accident by J's Southland Tow.
