Disturbance in court leads to arrest in Bates County

On May 14, 2019 Deputies were dispatched to the Bates County Courthouse to assist the Court Bailiff. The Bailiff advised the Deputies that because of the recent threats made against the judge by Andrea Sheeran (DOB 9/19/1980) that he was asked by the court to search Sheeran's backpack.

The Bailiff repeatedly asked her to step out of the courtroom so he could conduct the search but she refused.

The Bailiff then attempted to escort Sheeran out of the courtroom. Sheeran began to resist and fight him. The Bailiff was assisted by a Conservation Agent to place Sheeran in handcuffs and assist her out of the courtroom.

While the Deputies were escorting Sheeran to a patrol car she continued to scream and kick in an attempt to get away from the Deputies.
