The Missouri State Highway Patrol in Barton County says the accident occurred when the 2013 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 69 year old Kenneth G. Cartwright of Moundville, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail.
Mr. Cartwright sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of the accident by Park's Tow of Lamar.
