Bates County Roads Preliminary Damage Assessment by SEMA/FEMA ...

Huge pot hole on NE CR 3003 north of Z Highway
Okay folks, here's the LATEST on road repairs from our Bates County Emergency Management. PDA is Preliminary Damage Assessment. It will be done NEXT WEDNESDAY by SEMA/FEMA and to be included your Township Trustees MUST BE PREPARED as stated in this email. It is up to them if your Township receives funding or not. - Bates County Southern Commissioner Larry Hacker

(Message sent to Townships)

The PDA will be done on Wednesday June 26th.
This is the next step in what will hopefully result in some reimbursement for some of the damages caused by the recent rains and flooding.

What we are needing from you at this point is a comprehensive list of the the areas that have sustained damage. You can plot these areas on a map, create a list using road numbers/gps coordinates or however works best for you as long as we can tell where the damage has occurred so that we can take the folks from SEMA/FEMA to them.

If you list them, please put them in order from the most damage to the least damage. If you choose to use a map please highlight or make notations as to the most damaged areas.

If there are areas for instance that were substantially damaged and you have already done work to them be sure to include them as well. Just make a notation that you have done work on them.

Please email these lists etc to me no later than NOON TUESDAY JUNE 25th.  If you have any questions feel free to contact any of us:
