Lots happening in Adrian this summer

Lady Blackhawks are enjoying basketball camp this week, learning some new moves and strategies that will be of good use this upcoming season.

Don't forget the Adrian Lions Club have a new location for their fireworks stand, it will be at the former restaurant location at 700 N. old 71 highway. The will be open June 27th through July 4th, opening each day at 9 am.

The Adrian Lions also treated area kids to a fun day at Harley Martens farm just east of town for the annual fishing day, a good time was had by all- plus the weather was perfect.

The summer library hours at the school will be 8 to 12 in the morning and 1 to 3:30 pm June 5th, 12th, 19th, July 10th, 17th, 24th and the 31st. Remember- great readers make great leaders!

Congratulations to Hunter
Steen and Collin Lybarger. They both played in the Lions All Star Game in Higginsville on Saturday, June 8. Coach Tyson Basore was the coach of these two one last time and Coach Greg Sewell was also on hand!

A reminder to take the community input survey for the future needs of Adrian R3 School District. Tell your friends that are not on FB they can go to the Adrian School website (www.adrian.k12.mo.us) and take the survey there. Thank you~
