We know there are several people throughout town who are still experiencing a taste and odor issue with the water. We have been in contact with Kansas Department of Health and Environment to report the issues. All of our testing levels are coming back well within the ranges required and the water is safe to drink.
We have spoken with Kansas Rural Water Association and with our chemical supply representative. They have said that we are not the only town experiencing these issues this year and we just have to wait it out. We are going to continue to flushing hydrants throughout town to help with the issue.
