Vehicle Inspection Laws changing in the state of Missouri

Have you heard about the changes to Missouri's vehicle inspection law?

Missouri drivers soon will no longer be required to get inspections on vehicles less than 10 years old.

The current law requires vehicle inspections every other year for vehicles 5 years or older.

Governor Parsons signed legislation that changes the requirement to vehicles that are 10 years old or less, or with 150,000 miles or less on their odometers.

It is estimated that about 1.1 million vehicles will no longer need inspections under the revised law.

The change takes effect Aug. 28th.
