Temperatures this afternoon will be near-normal for middle July. Clouds and a few scattered showers will help cool readings across central Missouri on Monday thanks to the influence from Tropical Storm Barry.
The heat and humidity will be on the rise by mid-week, with heat index values exceeding 100 Wednesday into next weekend.
