Lamar Fire Chief Passes Away

It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that Chief Larry Beatty passed away early this morning. He leaves behind a great legacy of Community service to The city of Lamar and to the citizens of Barton County, prayers would be appreciated for family and friends. 

There will be a celebration of life in the basement of Memorial Hall this Saturday from 10Am till 3pm. “Not to worry brother we will take it from here” - Lamar Fire Department
