Obituary - Christopher Clayton Starbuck

Christopher Clayton Starbuck, 34, Nevada, MO passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 in Nevada. Chris was born January 23, 1985 in Nevada. He married Ashley Crabtree on May 19, 2013 in Fort Scott, KS.

Chris grew up in Nevada and attended Nevada High School. He received an associate degree from Crowder College in Neosho in small engine and automotive repair. Chris has worked for Ken Cove Farm Fence Company in Nevada for the past 13 years. During his time with Ken Cove, Chris traveled numerous times to China and Taiwan and has worked throughout the United States. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and going to the races. Most of all he loved spending time with his children, especially times spent fishing and going to the park.

Survivors include his wife, Ashley; four children, Addison Starbuck, Cayson Starbuck, Aaliyah Starbuck, Alexis Starbuck; his parents, Bonnie and Scott Stone, Nevada, and Clayton Starbuck, Nevada; two sisters, Penny Lowry and her husband Darren, Nevada, Stephanie Boyd and her husband Jeremy, Nevada; one brother, Earl Johnson, Nevada; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Jeff Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 3-5:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
