The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2002 GMC driven by 17 year old Jaime Espino-Amador of Olathe, Kansas traveled off the right side of the roadway, driver over corrected causing the vehicle to travel across a private drive way and strike a parked vehicle before overturning and coming to rest on its top.
Mr. Espino-Amador sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene of the crash by J's Southland Tow.
