The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2006 Cadillac CTS driven by 84 year old John D. Anderson of Rich Hill, Missouri drove off the roadway and struck a embankment before overturning.
Mr. Anderson sustained serious injuries in this accident and he was transported by life flight to Mercy Hospital in Joplin for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by TCB Tow of Nevada, Missouri.
