The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1998 Infiniti driven 25 year old Cody M. Bennefeld of Sedalia, Missouri failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the right side of the roadway striking a tree.
Mr. Bennefeld was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and he was transported to Bradley and Hadley Funeral Home.
This is Troop A of the Missouri State Highway Patrol's 45th fatality accident of 2019.
